Joseph's Story
Life
Still musically active. Received BA in Music Education, and have been teaching for five yrs for Hanford City schools. I still play quite a lot whether it's symphony/orch work or hacking away on the drumset - in fact, have a full studio of 11 private students on top of day job. Also, since 2002, kicking around idea of returning for MA program (in Percussion Performance) at UCSan Diego to study with world-reknown percussionist, Steven Schick but...as of now (2005) with house and a few other complications, not yet committed. rums and more drums are always priority, it's out of financial necessity alone that we drive Volkswagen cars expressly (Jetta owners as you might guess). What else? New hobbies? None (although I'm embarrassingly obsessed with my Mac (laptop) with all the Music production software and stuff on it). Travel when I/we can. Next stop...Columbus, Ohio in Nov.
I've remained friends and have kept in touch with...Mike Dillard, Ritch Garza, and have seen Jim Mohs from time to time. I hate mowing the lawn and have recently reconciled with the fact that...I'll never be any good with tools. Always proud to speak of my younger sisters, the oldest of whom (Ginna) just graduated from UCSD and the youngest (Kalani) is at Fresno St doing the nursing program. My brother resides with his wife in Fresno. And...I think that's it. For now at least.
