Joseph's Story
Life
I was married to Arlene Ancona (from Steinway St) for 35 years, till I lost her to cancer. We have a daughter and identical twin grand-daughters who are 14. We moved from Astoria to Glen Oaks, then we bought a house in Queens Village, then we bought this house in Central Valley (by the world famous Woodbury Commons) in 1976.
I'm getting ready to relocate to Sunset Beach N.C. I'm having a house built in Apr 08. It should be ready for me by July, but I probably won't be moving until July of 09. I've finally had en...Expand for more
ough of the cold and nasty weather here. I hope to do a lot of traveling and finally enjoy not working anymore.
Workplace
I retired from the TA in 1993 after 31 years of service. I've been driving a school bus ever since. I really enjoy doing this. I never thought (neither did my friends and family) that I would be so good with the various age groups I deal with K-12,. By next July (09) I'll have worked at this job for 16 years. I've been involved with transportation for 47 years. It's time for me to say BYE BYE.
