Joseph's Story
A computer and math geek who wore palette of Ralph Lauren shirts. English was somewhat uncomfortable since it was my second language. My best friend Ed and I had some fun times at the beach and drinking beer. I felt I wasn't fully accepted due to my ethnicity and the language barrier. Also, some noticeable prejudice. I'm sure it's different now. I don't blame them. It was early 80's in almost all white high school. But I DID have some bright and cool friends..... Great teachers too......
Now that I¿m in sunny and dry California. I'm married with kids, ...Expand for more
have couple houses and two businesses. I also do that family things, camping, vacations, ski trips, BBQs, parties, while working 60+ hours a week.
I made some smart investments, but also blew lots of money on different things. It was fun though...
It was pretty tough for few years but I will ride it out just like most Americans, and hopefully come out even more prosper, both mentally and economically.
And, and one more thing, I love L.A.¿s climate. I can not even imagine living in Orlando again in middle of August with 100% humidity. I will just visit....
