Joseph's Story
I joined the U.S. Air Force in October 1968, served 20+ years and retired on January 1, 1989 as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9). I married Dorothy (Smith) of Port Vue, PA in March, 1969 and we began my first Air Force assignment at Luke AFB, AZ. We were stationed at Luke AFB a number of times during my career and eventually retired there and remained in Arizona.

live near us in Arizona. We also have nine grandchildren, seven granddaughters and two grandsons.
While in the Air Force, I pursued my education and completed AA,. BA and MBA degrees. After my retirement from the Air Force, I began working for the Maricopa Community Colleges and retired from Estrella Mountain Community College in 2004 as the Senior Associate Dean of Student Services. We've been retired since then enjoying our grandchildren and traveling.
