Joseph's Story
Thinking back to those days of long ago, is embarrassing. I sure wish I could have done them all over again.
I'm not saying that I am any smarter now, but I am certainly totally different. The events of the world seem so surreal
to me. Sea pirates,, terrorist groups and beheadings,, HIV,, 911,, school shootings,, Obama,, women in combat,, the big banks bailout,,Pandemics,,Parkinson's,,,Alzheimer's,weird cancers,,same sex marriages,,legal marijuana,,,,,, what the heck is gonna be next ? It's been a long long time since one of my biggest fears was only if I were to get my girlfriend pregnant ! How many of us can live without a cellphone or a computer ? What a simple place that world used to be.

d now. I retired in 2002. We've all lost friends and family along the way. I'm sure you all knew my mom the gym teacher. She passed away in Dec of 2013. The family tree is practically gone. I have one sister left.
Our dreams change from time to time. One of mine was to land here in Florida, where the days are warm, gentle on the bones, and calm. It's peaceful and my brain doesn't have to do much work.
Whenever it's all over, I'll be buried someplace in Sarasota. I haven't nailed down a specific place just yet. I invite any and all of you to stop by and say hello. if you're down here visiting someone else in a Sarasota cemetery neighborhood. It sure would be nice to see you, if that was possible. Ya never know !
