Joseph's Story
I feel compelled to offer up these observations . There are few things more difficult than growing up . With that as a background here I say to you .
P W was a lot better high school than I could have ever known . Looking back I must say they did a great job with us and there was more than enough oppurtunity to flourish there in many ways . SO I would like to thank them here . Thanks !
To the kids who had it together enough to protest the Vietnam War in the halls of our school . I would like to thank them for opening my eyes wide and clear , you were brave young ...Expand for more
people . Thanks ! What an incredible journey that became for me .
To Donna the young lady in my homeroom who use to hold Sami Davis' book " Yes I Can " close to her everyday she came to school . You will never know what an inspiration you were to me , I think you held that book up for all of us .
To anyone who is wondering , I guess I got lucky in life . Just plain luck and lots of hard work . Anytime I became lost I just reminded my self who I was , just a country boy from Pennsylvania . Still am , got a bulldog named Willie , and a farm .
