Joseph's Story
Playing career began in the western suburbs of Chicago with the Trapani brothers big band. The early 60's included limited recording dates with (producer) Russ Vestuto. Career included appearances and backup performances with Marvin Gaye, Della Reese, Lou Rawls, George Gobel, Rosemary Prinz and Cinnamon Empire. From the mid-60's through the early-80's led a popular Indianapolis-based quartet, The Turnabouts.

e 70's and 80's as guest soloist with (Indianapolis) area high school bands, as a clinician and consultant, and as a private instructor.
Initial study was with Richard Zelek, but included studies with Arnold Jacobs and William Babcock, both with the Chicago Symphony. At Butler, studied with Mike Leckrone, John Colbert and Delbert Dale.
Current activity has been with Grand Rapids Symphonic Band and Forest Hills Adult Community Band.
