Joseph's Story
Lets see. In high school I tended to be alone and I was very shy; though, I would talk when comfortable. I was in the band but I must admit I probably was the worst player in the band.
After high school I became a physicist after going to Washington University in St. Louis and then Carnegie-Mellon. I ended up at NASA in Cleveland where for most of my career I was a research scientist looking for new materials for space communications. But now I've been turned into a system engineer of sorts.
I married in 1983 and have 3 sons. The first born passed away at age of 2 from a car accident. Then Sue, my wife, and I adopted a 2 year old after a couple of years from Russia; then we had our 3rd child. Joseph, the youngest will graduate from Ohio State this ...Expand for more
December. Sue unfortunately passed away in 2014 from cancer.
Well now with Joseph graduating I am going to retire and may consult. But I do want to travel to so many places I really don't know where to begin. I still have a ton of cousins back in Miami and do like to go and visit. The town sure has changed since we were in high school. My aunt and uncle lived in the 9 tribes complex. That is where the old high school was. I remember as a freshman there going down a local hotel where a lot of us bought lunch.
Maybe I'll see some of you in Miami. If you get up to Cleveland give me a holler.
I am now retired but working part-time designing satellite systems. I am going on road trips. I hope to attend this year reunion. It should be interesting.
