Joseph's Story
Salut;
Bonjour mes amies.
What have I been up to these past few decades? Wellll....
Went to college, went to war. Eloped with college sweet-heart, but it didn't last.
Met and married a nurse lady / scuba buddy (female type)
and we produced a beautiful daughter.
Adopted two boys (separate times and ages) from Korea.
The eldest we lost to an auto accident after he came back from the Navy.
The youngest graduated Suma Com Laude from American University
and earned his Masters from the same.
Our daughter graduated from Savanah College of Art & Design and
runs a Habitat-for-Humanity outlet in St, Louis.
That marriage didn't work out either.
Good news: my Twin Brother found me! He lives in Connecticut.
Since we were born in prison (Clinton, NJ) and separated at birth
(adopted to separate families at age one) our birth records were sealed.
I did surreptitiously get ahold of my birth certificate and we're tracking down our parents.

ervices indicate that my brother and I are probably Navaho heritage.
Other good news: My high school sweet-heart tracked me down (she was living in Biloxi, Ms.)
and gave me a "bolt out of the blue" phone call one night. Hadn't heard from her in thirty some odd years.
But right from "Hello" I Knew who it was. We talked on the phone that night literally until sunrise. We were like teenagers again, but with the benefits of experience..
We had four good years of "rekindled" friendship.
Lost her on Palm Sunday 2009.
So, as of right now:
Retired from the military after many years,
(mostly with Army's Special Forces (the Green Berets))
and currently self-employed as safe cracker down on the Jersey Shore
With N.C.O. Lock & Safe,
Looking forward to age seventy when I can fold my tent and slip away in the night, heading west.
Maybe buy a cabin deep in the woods,
Where the sun sets between me and town,
and live out my days in the hills of Colorado.
