Joseph's Story
Life
Since High School I have lived in Texas and now Arizona. I have had to follow my job back and forth quite a bit. I guess you have to do this if you're stupid enough to get a job as an Airplane Mechanic for a major airline (Continental Airlines). Prior to the first round of lay-offs I was a Sheetmetal Instructor for them and was based out of LAX. Now I am a Line Mechanic for them in Phoenix, Arizona. I have also lived in Fort Worth, Texas for 1 year and Houston, Texas for 3 years. I would have to say that Houston turned me into a Christian because I found out what Hell was all about there.
I currently live in a town called Stanfield which is about 40 miles south of Phoenix. Stanfield is a rural farming community which is about to get swallowed up by the suburbs of Phoenix. In all honesty, it is about the way it was in Seal Beach when I first moved there in 1966. I get the tumbleweeds in the yard everyday just like we did in College Park East before all of the houses were built. I have 3.6 acres there where I keep my two horses and two Austrailian Cattle Dogs. Off and on I have have 6-10 head of steer there to practice team roping (I am a heeler).
I have been engaged once but never got marr...Expand for more
ied and have no kids. As far as hobbies go, they are pretty much the same as they were in High School.

School
Favorite Teacher - Mr. Montoya
Favorite Story - They fired Mr. Montoya after his first year and it really upset me and a few guys in the welding class. So Derec Uribe and I vowed to make life rough on his replacement. On the first day of the class the new teacher was trying to demonstrate how to weld to the new guys in class. Every time he tried to weld either Derec or I would mess with the adjustments on the welder when the instructor dropped the welding mask over his eyes and would return the settings to normal before he could lift his mask up to check the settings on the machine. The instructor Mr. Broadhurst must have turned 30 shades of red and sweated off 20 pounds in those 10 minutes. He finally caught on when Derec couldnt contain his laughter any longer. You had to be there but it was classic.
