Stephen's Story
Life
Spent 4 years in the Marine Corps, including a tour in Viet Nam (1968-1969). Spent 3 years on the U.S. Capitol Police Department. Have worked for General Motors Corp. since January 1974. Started as a industrial safetyman, firefighter-rescue team member. Will be able to retire with 30 years next year,2004.
I have 2 daughters, 32 and 28. with 7 grand-children.

January 1974 to Present I have worked for General Motors Corp. I stated as a member of thier Plant Protection Dept.,Fire-Rescue-Plant Security. In 1993 the corporation downsized. At the time I had 19 years on the job so they gave us jobs in the production department. I have worked on the assembly line, drove fork truck, and now balance heater and air-conditioning motor and fans.
