Life I am 48 and I just celebrated my Big "49 " birthday 1 week ago so now I am 49 years old and I got married almost 20 years & almost 0 months ago tomorrow now. Yeks! I am married to a wonderful man named Cameron. I received my A.S. Degree in Child Development and Education in August 2000. I work for Pinellas County Schools as an Assistant Teacher. I plan to go back to college in the future. It has been a happy and difficult 20 years . I had to have surgery almost 20 years ago after I got married. I am in the process of recovery. I just have to believe in myself. We went to N.Y. and P.A. for vacation 18 summers ago . It was fun!!Well, it is the new year 2005 and I am trying to lose weight. I lost 6 pds. so far. Yes!!! On another note, I am a little disappointed because we have to sell our house. We are having some financial difficulities. I can not drive again until June or July which makes it very hard to get around. I can only work when my husband is off. We will move into an apartment for a year to two years after our house sells. I feel like we are going backwards instead of forward. We are trying to make a fresh start!!! I hope we are doing the right thing. I believe that everyday that you are alive is a good day. It is hard making decisions, but things could be worse. I thank God for everything we have. I know we are fortunate more than some other people. We have a dog named Thorn. He is our baby for right now. I am not even worried about having a baby yet. If it is meant to be it will happen. I pray for everyone that is involved in the war and I hope that they will come home safely. I guess we all have to be grateful for every little thing we have. Amen. I think the most important things in life is your health, your spouse, family, friends, your child or children and your faith. I try to never forget my hopes and dreams. I try to accomplish my goals to the best of my ability. I treasure each kiss, hug, smile, and laugh that I give to someone and someone gives back to me. All the money in the world is not going to make you happy! Eventhough, we all need money to live and survive. I am trying to think positive about every difficult situation in life. As I am getting older, I realize that it is not fancy cars, big or nice houses that make you happy! It is believing in yourself and knowing that we all go through rough times. It is important to stand true to yourself! I pray a lot and I think that helps me. When, I start to feel like I am alone I think about a lot of other people that is worse off than me. I would love to be a writer someday! That is one of my dreams. There is just something about being able to put your words down on paper that makes you feel so relieved!!! I was not brought up with much material things, but I know from how my Grandma raised me that it is important to go after your dreams!!! I am not going to give up!!! I love life and I want to live it to the fullest. I am working on my self-confidence every since I had my surgery almost 20 years ago. I have anxiety and panic attacks sometimes, but I know that I am not alone in the world with these problems. I go to support groups and I am trying to learn how to live with a seizure disorder the past 20 years so far. I know that I am not alone with this and I will start going to support groups for this soon,too! I think the more educated and aware that I am the better that I will feel about myself. This way, I can start living my life to the fullest again. I want to be happy, happy, happy again! I was raised to never give up and I am trying my very best to keep this positive outlook on life! I just turned the BIG 30 last month! Yes!!! We moved and are now living in an apartment. We like it! We know we did the right thing for now. We will buy another house when we are ready. We will pick out the one we want together when the time is right. Wow! It is hard to believe that it has been almost 30 years since high school so far! Time flys! I had a setback on June 1st,2005 ;I had another seizure. So now, I can not drive for another six months until December. I am trying to be happy. It is now the year 2011, and I am doing ok so far!! I have my good and bad days, and I still suffer with my disabilities everyday!! I am trying to work a little more to help my hubby and I out financially. I am doing a little better with working, but the most important thing is my health. That comes first, and foremost before anything else in my life!! I do what I can with this economy being the way it is today. I still take my medicines, but I just got told that it is okay for myself to start trying to have a baby of our own. So, we will see what happens?? If God, wants me to have a baby than I will; if not we will adopt a baby, or a child. We prefer a little girl, and we would love to name her Tiffany JoEllen. Really, it does not matter what we want as long as it is healthy that is the main thing. I am hoping and praying that our wish will come true. Our little immediate family will be complete! Yes! It would be myself, my hubby, Cameron, our baby, and of course we can not forget our "1st baby" our baby pet dog that is now12 yrs.old name...Expand for more
