Joshua's Story
What has happened to me since high school...
Well....
I graduated from the school of hard knocks... after 6 years of relentles studying I learned I was not going to get where I wanted in life with out an extra education. In 1998 I took a serious view on my education and enrolled in MCC with no clear direction on what I wanted to do. I was interested in business and sciences. I changed my major 5 times and settled on Chemical Engineering by the time I graduated MCC in the spring of '01. I transfered to USF in the fall of '01 to pursue the degree. postion as an engineer at Cargill Crop Nutrition and worked as an intern until I graduated from USF in spring '04 with a BS in ChemE. Upon graduation I accepted a full-time position with Cargill, now Mosaic. I currently work at the Riverview Concentrate plant as a Production Coordinator in the Sulfuric Acid Department.
My home life was just as hectic during that time frame. I was in and out of relationships until I met my wife. We were married Thanksgiving weekend in '00. We had our first child, Adia, in November of '04. We are expecting our second child, Ethan, the end of April '08.
