Josie's Story
Life
My mom was diagnosed with severe Alzheimer's and passed away in 2009. My dad is in the middle stages of the disease. A lot of my time is spent taking care of him at home and trying to balance working in Film and Reality TV. As of 2021 my dad is 97 years old! I've lived in Miami and San Francisco and have been a frequent traveler to Europe and well as places here in the States. My hobbies include running and snowboarding. I am fluent in Spanish and Italian, and trying to home school myself in German.
College
After graduating from N.H., I became a professional student. I have attended a whole slew of schools from FIDM, CSULA, San Francisco State, Santa Monica, LA, East LA and Valley City Colleges to being a Bruin and a ...Expand for more
Trojan. Final tally: a BA in Philosophy, minors in Business and Italian, 2 yrs completed towards an MFA in Film.
Workplace
Through my college years, I've held many jobs; from typical office work, supervisor at a coffee shop, market researcher, college recruiter to now working in Film and Reality TV (oops! I said the R word!).
Two of the more interesting jobs I've had was tour guide for an Italian bike tour across Italy and an attache' for The World Championships of Athletics.
Extra
Currently, I also volunteer for a German Shepherd rescue here in So. California. (It’s been my passion for over 10 years now.) I've also volunteer for other organizations as well. Los Angeles got the 2028 bid for the Olympics! And I'll be there!
