Josie Silva:  

I was born and raised in Los Angeles.I lived in El Sereno but went to Lincoln I graduated in summer of 61. I had so many wonderful friends there and still in contact with some of them. I worked full time after graduation, worked at Gold's Furniture in LA I was head cashier, then went to Circle Finance it was a two girl and four man office. We (the Girls) typed loans,cashiered,bookkeeing, took customer applications answered phones filed, and more can't remember what the men did. I married Abel Silva Jr (Tex) grad from Wilson H.S. W'63 Yes! I'm a cougar. We have one daughter, no grandchildern,that's why I have so much time to do the things I do. My Husband and I have traveled to Hawaii (where our daughter got married and what a beautiful wedding it was) Canada and many states in the USA My husband and I both retired at a very young age. I retired from Alhambra Sch Dist where I was in charge of the JTPA program for 15yrs and them the ROP program for 5yrs I loved working with the students and the wonderful staff I made many friends and still in contact with them.
