Joslyn's Story
Life
I live in Texarkana, AR with my husband David Vickers and my two children Grant and Jessica. I am an accountant and my husband is an Electrical Contractor. We just recently started a business.
My son Grant is into Basketball, Baseball, and Track. He enjoys Paintball and hunting and fishing with his Dad. He plans to join the Air Force to become a Pilot after he finishes college so that he can enter as an Officer. He plans to start flight school this year.
Lord help me, I don't know if I am military mom material, but it has been all he has ever talked about since he was 5 years old.
Jessica is my dancer. She lives and breathes dance. When she gets home from school, she goes to the shop and puts on her music and dances for atleast 2 to 3 hours a day.

Needless to say, I keep really busy between the two kids.
David and I get to see each other almost every day now that we have started our own company. So far we have been blessed with work. I hope the 2008 year will be a profitable. It's quite different having David home on a daily basis, but we are doing fine. We have been married for 17 years. He's a great husband and father.
We live on 21 1/2 acres out side of town in a two story Rock and Cedar House. We have two ponds that are wonderful to fish in around spring through summer. The kids love riding four wheelers.
I definately love the country. And the pool that keeps us cool durig the hot summer days.
I work out of my home, so that I can be here for the kids. Now that they are in their teens, they need to be more closely supervised.
I am so wrapped up in my kids life, that I don't have much time for myself. That's okay, they will be gone before I know it.
