Joy's Story
Life
Life continues to be good for me. IÂm happy and doing well. My husband and I celebrated our 12th anniversary in February. I finished my MasterÂs in Library Science a few years ago and am enjoying my 7th year at my schoolÂ's library.
I love my job and have more fun than I thought work could be, I guess the passion makes what I do so much fun every day. Our library is the busiest one in the district and we have hundreds of kids in at lunches and before/after school. I am loving the challenge of managing the budget, a staff of more than 15 students and adults, utilizing technology and teaching kids how to find the answers they seek.

st 16 years. IÂ enjoyed the extra time with her and she'Âs truly flourishing! IÂm proud to say sheÂ's really grown into a terrific young woman. She is caring, loving and smart. What more could a mother ask for?! She's working at Disneyland and is working toward her bachelor's degree.
My husbandÂ's daughters are doing well too; the eldest is a senior at Long Beach State. The youngest is a sophomore in college; she is taking care of her general education requirements.

I would love to get back in touch with old friends. I look back on D.H.S. with fondness and can't believe that it has been nearly 30 years. The picture above is of my dad and I the last time we golfed together before he died.
