Joy's Story
Life
After AVHS I spent 4 years at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. I double majored in Business Administration and Sociology and graduated in 1995. Just weeks after graduation I married Tim Moyers, of Palos Verdes, CA. We now live in Huntington Beach with our son Liam. I'm a stay at home mom but I work out of my house doing the financials for the organization my hubby & his partner started, Journeys Counseling. Yes, he's a psychotherapist and NO that's not how we met! (haha)

ears of trying to have a second child we finally succeeded. Of course, I was just finishing my student teaching for my teaching credential when we found out! haha! I did teach Kindergarten at a lovely school in Newport Beach for a short time. Then Rett arrived in July of 2005. He has been nothing but a blessing ever since. He is all smiles and Liam is pleased as punch to finally have a sibling. So needless to say my teaching career is on hold while I'm at home with this little guy.
