Joy's Story
I've had a wonderful life! I graduated from EPCHS and completed my bachelor's degree at Tennessee Temple University. I have been teaching English on the secondary level since my graduation from college. This year, however, I have become my husband's administrative aide--and I thought teaching was involved! I really enjoy it!
I have been married to the greatest guy on earth for forty-one years now and am looking forward, the Lord willing, to many more. We have two sons: Jonathan is married and studying archeology at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. He is also in the army reserves. Music has always been a major part of my life, and my husband and sons are all gifted singers and musicians. We traveled, as a family, for about five years doing concerts and music in churches across the country. We really enjoyed that, but most of our lives have been spent leading the music ministries in churches in Tennessee, Georgia, Delaware, and Florida until five years ago when my husband, M.R. "Butch" Callahan, accepted the pastorate of Maranatha Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL (mbctal.org) where I serve alongside him in various ways.
We love what we are doing and hope the Lord will continue to use us for years to come.
