Joy Lyn's Story
Hey ya'll,
Well, after graduation I went to WSU and got my degree in Dental Hygiene. I worked in the same office for 16yrs. until I quit almost two years ago to be a stay at home mom. Before becoming a mom, I married my sweetie Andy Dawson from Morgan in Novemeber 1991. We were never able to conceive our own biological children so we adopted our two beautiful girls from birth. Erin is 8yrs in March and Amber is 6yrs. They are the light of our lives. During our infertility time I continued to work as a dental hygienist and was a clinical instructor at WSU in the hygiene dept and earned my BS. stayed home. I now work one day a week for a non-profit organization called Sealants for Smiles. We go to the Title 1 schools and place sealants on the 2nd and 6th grade children. I love it and it works out well with my family. I also work two Wednesdays a month for a dentist in Clinton, Ut. Dr. Michael Bronson.
My husband is a nuclear medicine tech at Davis Hospital and is the assistant director of the radiology dept. He is also one of our city coucilman here in West Point, which is were we have lived for the past thirteen years.
We love to camp, ATV and hike. Our girls keep us very busy and they love to play soccer, baseball and dance. We have been very blessed.
