Joy's Story
I've been married for 38 years to a wonderful man named Ismael (Class of 1970 and retired Army Special Forces Officer!
I have two wonderful children:
Yvonne and Jay
I have 9 grandchildren:
Alessandra, Darren, Eddie,Dallas, Dillon and Dalton (twins),Jolicia,
Sophia, and Dustin....soon to have another by November 2011.
I have 1 great grandchild :
Preston
Moved alot! Military Life!
Worked alot!
Retired Now, but still work in our buisness!
My story:
I am happily married to my husband of going on 38 years, Ismael Lopez, HHS Class of '70! after he came home from Vietnam and in the army, we got married and moved to Germany.
Came home and moved to San Antonio.
I finished my schooling at San Antonio College with HHS being my school...I graduated early due to passing all my...Expand for more
subjects in Dec '75, but should have been in May of '76... Yea!
I then went to San Antonio College, but had to quit temporary...went back but to get just certificates instead of diploma, due to moving a lot.
My husband rejoined the military as an officer in '79 and as I said before,had been moving a lot, during the years and also working and caring for my family.
I also served as a diplomat's wife.
In 1997, he retired from the military and now we have a buisness called MILO RMR,Inc. doing Risk Mitigations and Investigations for Corporations and Companies.
I have two children now in their mid to late 30s, 9 grandchildren, 1 soon to come and 1 greatgrandchild.
I have been blessed with such a family and am happy!
I am not in the best of health, but I try to keep going.
