Joy's Story
I've been through so much, I could have lived three lives already. It's been an incredible journey and a wonderful, sometimes bittersweet, learning experience. I have learned that life can be fleeting, so I choose to go out and really LIVE it.
I lived in Calgary all my life. Never a thought of moving, until my life crashed down around me. Up until then I lived quite a charmed life. I had a happy family, I travelled, I had gone to university, I lived in a dream home, I was happy and healthy. In 2006 death knocked our door and I was left alone. I crumbled and barely made it past the grief.

age and jumping cactus, swam in the warmest lake in Canada, took belly dancing lessons, and learned to play pool. It was there that I learned to live again.
I returned to Calgary in 2009 and began to arrange get-togethers for my Bowness High School classmates not knowing how it would ultimately change the trajectory of my life. While I enjoyed the company of many classmates I haven't seen since high school, I also got to meet many students I hadn't known back then. Long story short, I fell head over heels with one of Mr. Globa's band geeks. And presto-chango...I'm now living on the edge of an Island having the time of my life.
Stories change, new chapters are written...life is what you make of it. Live Big
