Joy's Story
Since high school, I've lived in San Francisco and on the peninsula; and also for a while in New York. I have two grown children and two young grandchildren. My employment has consisted almost exclusively of part-time positions (by choice). I have worked in various industries through the years, and did not work at all for about 7 years when my children were small, to allow for full time parenting. ld like to have time to experience and explore more; but much time is required to address just the mundane tasks of life, and the days go quickly. Fortunately, I have gained faith in a hope of limitless time with health and opportunity to do all the many things we would love to do.
We are the leading edge of the massive 'Boomer' generation. We transistioned into adulthood in the 60s - a challenging decade, with war and social change. We survived.
