Joy's Story
I am single living in Greensboro. Lived in Florida for about 5 years. I was fortunate there to explore all Florida has to offer. I fished in Lake Okeechobee, sailed on cruise ships, seen all that Seaworld & Disney has to offer and visited most every city there. I moved back to be close to my family.
I have been in sales & marketing and even had my own business in the ATM market when they came on the scene till the area was saturated. I then worked for Wachovia bank's merchant accounts setting businesses up on Visa/Mastercard acceptance programs. I sold cars for Bob Dunn & others and was successful but I became bored with its declining sales & pace so now I want to try management...so here I go again out into the job market. I like travel and experiencing new things that add new adventure to life. Life can be so short and I learned this the hard way. My 7-year old, Shane, was killed at Country Park in GSO in 1978. It happened before the helmet laws were enforced and parks had rules. Today, helmets are a must and all traffic flows one way. He ran into another cyclist suffering a head trauma. I am at peace with God on where he is but miss him dearly. His younger sister, Amy, was nearby in the park. He would be so proud of her today. She is a remarkable young lady with 2 dynamite little ones. Peyton 9 & McKenzie 1 that fulfill her life. She is a successful CPA.
I am open-minded and have learned to stop and appreciate the work God's hands have made.
