Joy's Story
Hello out there! Well, after high school I did a stint at Mount Union College, Kent State University. Then I did time in South India with the American Peace Corps (trained at U.C. Davis in California). Came back to California after Peace Corps and worked on the San Bernardino Star News newspaper as a reporter and an editor. Moved to Santa Monica to go to graduate school at UCLA (English and Creative Writing), taught at Santa Monica Community College, got married, moved to Pasadena, raised 5 kids (my biologic...Expand for more
al twins and three step-children), several dogs, cats, boas and assorted animals. Worked on PhD at USC, got divorced, obtained PhD in Traditional Chinese Medicine, did post graduate studies in China and Tibet, been in Private Practice for 20 years in Eagle Rock, CA. I am an Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Homeopath, Nutritionist, TAT Practitioner, Reiki Master, and Certified Hypnotherapist. Was planning to semi-retire but got caught in the Economic Crunch! Oh, well!
