Joyce's Story
Life
I moved from Salinas in 1975 to Concord, CA where I graduated from Concord High in 1977. I married my husband Dave in 1980 and we had our first son, Jonathon, later that year. Our next son, Robert, was born in 1982. We moved to Fairfield, CA in 1985 where I continued to be a stay-at-home mom :-) We had son #3, Thomas, in 1987. ade her debut! We packed up and moved to Washington State in 1992. We love it here, although I do miss California and our family there.
I have been working in special education since 1998.
We have 3 wonderful grandchildren, with another due May 2024.
My sister, Karen, her husband, and their 2 sons moved to Washington state and live about 30 minutes from me.
