Joyce's Story
After John F. Hodge, I attended SMSU for 3 years, then married my husband, Larry, in 1973. We moved 6 times the first 4 years we were married and had 2 children, Shelley and Jason. We moved to Rolla in 1977 and have been there ever since. I finished my degree in English at UMR in 1978 and taught Jr. High and High School English for 4 years. manage the office. My daughter, Shelley, started working with me full time in 2001 after she, too, completed 4 years of teaching! She is married and has 3 adorable children which makes me a very proud NaNa!!! Jason, is still single and works for UPS here in Rolla. I am also very active in our local, state, and national Realtor organizations and will be serving as state President in 2011. My husband, Larry is a commercial loan officer at Central Federal Savings and Loan. Life is great!
