Joyce's Story
Life
Life after high school was filled with its bumps and bruises but I used them as stepping stones. I married too soon after high school, which turned out to be a gigantic mistake. I lived in ElPaso, TX for 1 long year in which, not only was I in a miserable marriage, I was alone with no family and friends nearby. After getting out of that my life has been very good.
I'm married with two daughters, Rebecca (24) and Emily (10) and in December 2006, our first granddaughter, Kenzie. My family is the light of my life. Rebecca is in college in South Carolina with her husband and Kenzie. Emily will be going to middle school in the fall of 2007. She is a yellow belt and very active on school comittees and volleyball. They grow so fast. They have achieved so much and made us so proud.

there ever since 1990. I work in Human Resources/Payroll Administrator. I wear other hats so my job keeps me busy. I'm also an independent consultant for Tastefully Simple. My husband works for the Hammond Police Dept. He's nearing his 30 years, a journey we're eager to see end.
My mother is still an active member of First Baptist. Sits in the third row in front of preacher. She will be turning 85 this coming April.
Soon after returning to the area, I would on occasion, run into people from school, funny thing, they were just as rude and stuck up as they were in school. Guess that's why I worked so hard at being invisible. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those ladies would need a tractor to pull the stick out of their butts! No hard feeling ladies, you have my sympathy. I hope life's lessons have taught you differently without feeling the same hurt you imposed on many, Im sure.
