Joyce's Story
Life has been full of changes . . . why did I not expect that?!? But it's ending well, with a family to be pleased with, 50 years of good marriage, good health and anticipation of more good things in years to come.
Two grandchildren round out our family, one is safely in heaven, and one 17 months old, who has occupied my time in wonderful ways.
Al and I have spent our years in ministry, and can't seem to retire from that -- they say you never do, and that's okay. It is a part of who we are.

That my attitude and action choices determine the outcome. I can become bitter or better when a tragedy drops into my life.
I can try to do "it" myself and risk messing it up worse, or I can ask God to take care of "it" and watch things work out well after all!
That others can do a thing differently from what I would do it, and still not be wrong -- it's still good or even better.
That a good song can cheer me up. :o)
That chocolate actually IS good for me. (I could have told them that!)
