Joyce's Story
Life
I started working on-base when I was a JR at Trona High...thanks for getting me the job, P. Davis! I just celebrated 22 years at NAWC on June 7, 2005.
In keeping with my "late bloomer" title, I got married to Dan Ommen (from South Dakota--works on-base) in 2001 and immediately started having babies (we got pregnant on our wedding night...that's what we get for "waiting"). Emily Marie was born in January 2002 and we got pregnant on our 2nd anniversary, giving us Jonah Matthew in January 2004 (yes, I'm done having babies, now).

ee in Business Administration. I'm now being "groomed" for a management position so I thought I'd better pursue my Master's in Management to finish up the "school" thing albeit I consider myself a life-long learner because the more I learn in life, the more I realize I don't know.
I have fond memories of Trona High; it was the best of times and the worst of times (being so hormonal and all). I wish all my classmates the best of wishes. I keep you in my thoughts and prayers...especially Lena who we lost this year. Take care, Everybody. Be safe, be well and know I think good thoughts for you.
