Joyce's Story
My story is much to sad to be told - but practically everything leaves me totally cold....NO NO NO. That's what Cole Porter wrote.
MY STORY is that I really hate these questionnaires and anyone from the class of 1970 who is awake enough to have read this far understands exactly what I mean.
If you want to say hi, I would love it because I miss MHS all hail all hail to thee, the precepts e'er shall guide us onward towards victory.........
Excuse me, got caught by another song. Oh well I still play the piano and teach it too, but only privately so I get to kick out the kids who bother me (current enrollment: 1 1/2 students + 1 teacher, ha ha who's kidding.)
OK swell and well must go figure out what I'll be someday, maybe. XXXXXX to all.
August 26th 2008 UPDATE
Well -- ok still trying to...Expand for more
recover from mom's death. we really were best friends, hit me hard, still hits me hard. Other details like selling her condo before it goes into forevlosure are also my responsibility, on and on and on.
Broke my ankle in May - still in an aircast. Trying to avoid surgery (anyone an orthopedic surgeon?????)
So I can't avoid it, 2008 really sucks wind and it isn't over yet. It isn't all bleak - my kids are great, Tom & I celebrated 31st anniversary in July. It was a bring your own flashlight oh yeah we sent 2 kids through college kind of celebration.
It isn't all bleak, it just looks bleak from here. It will get better I know. But what can I say, I miss my mother.
Also - gotta watch those Vicodin refills.....
Our generation, better living through chemistry.
