Life
After living in Corpus Chrisit, Tx for 30 years, my husband and I moved to Michigan for 18 months to be near our grandchildren. Then we moved to the Houston, Tx area and have been here since Oct. 1996. I'm still married to the same man even though I'm sure many thought no 17 1/2 year old girl could make a lasting choice for a husband. insurance company for 5 years and then the supervisor of the Medical Services department for another 5 years. At the end of September 2006, I quit work due to multiple surgeries and issues with the vision in my Lt. eye. My 82 year old mother lives with us. She is still sharp as a tack, but has bad degenerative joint disease in back and knees and uses a walker. My husband continues to work at Bayer and we also have our own payphone business. We have 4 grandchildren and 2 daughters. Being a grandma is the best.
