Joyce's Story
Wow, so many changes through the journey I have been on called my life.....After living and growing up in and around Grants Pass, except for a few years spent in Utah with my first husband and the years after the end of that phase I finally found my one true love of my life in Coos Bay. I love the Oregon coast, the sights, sounds and smells...the fishing, the awesome things that happen on and around the sea, the simple and fullfilling life I have been blessed with here with Stephen J. Brandis.
I have two beautiful daughters, 2 granddaughters and 3 grandsons. We have 3 dogs and two cats. We own property near the bay and are close to the docks so are able ...Expand for more
to go clamming, crabbing and fishing whenever we choose. And at night we can hear the ocean.
I owned a bridal shop in GP where I custom designed bridal & formalwear and all the accessories. I still design and make items for wear and home, jewelry and do interior decorating as a hobby but spend most of my time with Stephen helping him with his upholstery work....making boat tops, specialized raingear, etc. Learning to ocean fish and living with the many faces of the ocean has been such a wonderful experience...I love growing older and really living fully finally......so much to look forward to every day and I thank the Lord for this answer to my prayers!
