Joyce's Story
Life
Spent the first half of my student life moving across the country with my family since Dad was in the USAF. Moved to Rehrersburg in 1968 and into the Tulpehocken School District. In 1974, just after the beginning of the 2nd marking period, Dad took the position as pastor of a church in Lebanon. Sadly, we moved to Lebanon and I was unable to graduate with my class at Tulpehocken. This was a difficult move since I had never lived in any one place for more than two years. I graduated from Lebanon HS in 1975 and was fortunate enough to be able to attend Tulpehocken's graduation to see my friends graduate.
I married in 1977 and we have lived in the Lebanon area ever since. My husband, Rich, and I have two children; a daughter, 25 and son, 22. We have been members of Faith Baptist Church in Lebanon for over 25 years and are very active in the church. I ...Expand for more
help with the teen program and sing in the choir and special music.
I discovered theatre in 1991 and have been addicted to performing on the stages of local community theatres ever since. I directed my first full-fledged musical at Christmas in 2004 for Lebanon Community Theatre. I work with teens in my church teaching them drama and directing them in skits and plays.
I work for MTS TRAVEL in Ephrata, PA. We are the leading agency in the nation that works with mission, relief and development, and church-related travel. I work in the marketing dept. designing ads and brochures. I have been taking college classes in marketing off and on for the past five years and may one day finish with a degree!
I would like to get in touch with some of my friends from Tulpehocken--specifically Sherry Groff and Diane DeLong. I'm sad to say, I lost touch with them.
