(2009)Married Bill Lawrence in September 1957. 2 children, Lynda, my daughter lives in Portland, Or with her 13 year old son Dylan. Son, Bill is a contractor. Lives in Herrin with wife, Joyce & 2 sons, Seth & Ian. Seth just recently was notified he had won a Chancellors scholarship to SIU. Also up for MR. HHS, member of National Honor Society. Ian, 8 yrs recently won the North American Jr. Goose Calling Championship in Moline, IL. Does not use a goose call, calls by mouth. Retired 2 years ago from Herrin Security Bank where I had been employed for 47 years. Started in bookkeeping & had become VP & COO at time of retirement. Lost Bill in 2002 to the ravages of his radiation treatments for cancer.Still love Herrin, am active in the Herrin Chamber of Commerce as a director & officer. Also on many committees for Chamber. Still very good friends with Marilyn Berra, Marilyn Matthews & Julie Griffin. Travel together & get together at least once a month to see how much trouble we can cause(.2012) My grandson Seth is a junior at SIU now will graduate with 2 degrees, one in math & one in physics.
