I've been through many valleys in my life and climbed over several mountains. But something kept my head above water and keeps me pressing on. In 1999, God introduced himself to me and showed me that he was always with me and that it was he that was carrying me through the rough years. He began his work in me and began a deep cleansing of all the pain & hurt that I had suffered. It was during this time that I began to truly feel HIS love for me. In 2003 he told me that he has a plan and purpose for my life and that my life would be a testimony to others that are suffering like me. Through the next 4 years, I took care of my mom and dad until they passed away. I stumbled and made mistakes along the way, but HIS LOVE for me has never failed me....Expand for more
It was always there to lean on when all else seems to fade away. He lead me to HARVEST where I've connected with some of the awesomeness brothers and sisters-in-christ. It is HIS LIGHT THAT SHINES FROM ME and I want to spend the rest of my life introducing JESUS to whomever God leads to me. And I know now that it is by HIS strength and not mine that guides me down this path I'm on. I don't always understand what He's doing, but through it I'm learning to lean and trust in HIM. No matter how rocky the path may be at times, I know it's He that will finish the work that He started in me. And GREATER is He that is in me than he who is in this world. God is in Control and we serve a loving and merciful Heavenly Father. When fear comes in like an LION, look up and draw on Him!
UPDATE: 2010 ..... since the Lord has introduced me to JOB, I've learned that He was preparing me for the future ahead of me, therefore during this current storm...I know I'm still in His Hands and draw on what lies ahead. Though I'm going through yet another storm, I know the ending and know that God will restore double what satan has stolen from me. I WILL NOT QUIT OR BACK UP AND PRESS FORWARD TO THE GREAT BLESSINGS OF GOD THAT LAY AHEAD!
Update: 2011-God has opened up a door of opportunity that connects with the verse He had spoken to me 10+ years ago. Isaiah 55:5 You shall go to nations you do not know and nations you do not know shall come to me for the Lord God of Israel has glorified you! Thank you Lord for everything you have done for me...good and bad for it has made me into the Woman of God that I am today. With God all things ARE possible!".
