Life
Hello Everyone,
Thankyou for visiting my profile. I guess it's about time for me to write a little about myself. After graduation I went to a business college, graduated and worked at an Ins. Co. for a little while. Quit that to work for my dad at his hair salon and later went to work w/ my brother at his hair salon. Got involved in a relationship and had three children (not married), that didn't work out because I ended up getting truly saved the Bible way back on March 28,1995. After my conversion to Christianity I moved out of Oakland, to Southern CA, Ontario where I attended the Church of God. By the way that's where my sister Audra and her family lives and attend church. I eventually moved to Jackson, Mi. because I wanted to leave CA and we have a sister church, Church of God look up this site when you're finished reading this. After I moved here I eventually married on 4-27-03 which was my then youngest daughter's B-day and ended up having another son on our 1st yr anniversay. I have a good hubby. We just celebrated our 4th year. My children's ages are Mandisa 14 soon to be 15, Ras 13, Khaeen just turned 12, Keith Jr. just turned 3, Keenan is 19 months and we have one on the way. God has truly blessed my life every since I gave up the sin business to live a life of Bible holiness. Sometimes I sit in awe when I think of the life I lived, the sins I committed and shake my head because, if it wasn't for God's mercy I would be in a devil's hell or prison, strung out on dope, maybe living a clean moral life, trying to climb the corporate ladder, I could be deceived going to church yet sinning and think I'm on my way to heaven, but God!!!!!!! He saw the sincerity of my heart and that I yearned for truth. I remember going to different churches and seeing the people the way they dressed, smoked, cursed, drank, party, shacked (living together and not being married) talked about people badly. f these people aren't doing no different than what I was doing, preachers lusting after the women, you name I saw it or knew of it. I got sick of that and just stayed home. Before that I was a Rastafarian had dredlocks the whole nineyards and that was a false religion/way of life as well. My sister Audra got saved first and I observed her life that she didn't do the same things we used to do together anymore her appearance changed, the way she talked, she was different. At first I thought she was crazy or in a cult. But as I observed her life it was a peaceful one. On the other hand my life was getting more and more miserable, chaotic, depressing etc. To sum it up I got tired of being sick and tired of my life and that's when Jesus stepped in and showed me a better way. Since then I've had a peace in my soul that I could never receive any other way. I can truly say today that if Jesus would split the clouds now, all I have to say is come Lord Jesus come. The key to finding Bible truth is to have an honest, truly honest heart to want to know what's right. Many people believe you have to or can't help but to sin, but my friend that's a lie straight from the pits of hell and it's daming many, many souls. The bible expressly teaches holiness and a life free from alllllllllllllll sin/s. (Tell me what sins do you have to commit, the answer will always be none if you're honest) A person sin because they want/choose to. It is a choice. Everyday we have a choice to do right or wrong, good or evil. I have scriptures to back up my beliefs. We can talk about it more if you would like to email me. But please check out our church website and that will answer alot of your questions too. We have other Church of God links as well. But I must say, just because a church has that name doesn't mean they are God's church. It must be tried by God's word and spirit. And by the fruit that's manifested by the people.
