Life
Akiva Hebrew Academy was amazing....the best selling (yet sad) writer Mitch Albom, and the now famously pompous Los Angeles Rabbi David Wolpe were classmates.
Frisch was a blast...nothing like a brand new private high school. Freedom. Room to grow.
Touro College was a bigger blast still.
The career path started great in the rah rah 80's. But suddenly there was this desire to explore a more spiritual side...so I took a leave of abscence (which became quitting when they wouldn't take me...Expand for more
back) to go to Israel for 6 months. The folks at Laventhol & Horwath thought I was nuts. After they became the largest CPA firm failure in history, I realized I was being judged by people who were distinguished only by their ability to misjudge. Thanks for not taking me back guys! Whew....missed a disaster there.
As one thing led to another, I own a few photocopier dealerships...and ran for office in Rockland County New York. Politics is a great place for those of us who can't sit still.
