Judi's Story
Life
I have worked in Victoria as an apprentice surgical fitter, married my High School Sweet heart and became a mom and we moved to the interior and then I became divorsed and remarried later. I have been a waitress, a secretary returned to college at 40 and worked for BC Rail/CN Rail for 26 years. I now live in Prince George with my husband of 31 years. I have a son, daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren a grand dog and a grand cat, (who likes to bite my ankles if I ignore him), and the kids also have a guinea pig who I think looks like a rat. six year old is the boss of us all. I enjoy boating and have had several great trips. We circumnavigated Vancouver Island, sailed to Alaska through the inside passage. We have sailed the Gulf and San Juan Islands, and Desolation Sound several times. We have also been lucky enough to sail around Mexico.
Today I am retired, (uh huh), I am learning to be my husbands assistant, I belong to the Power and Sail Squadron and act as the secretary. I day care the kids after school sometimes and we manage our friends 26 unit apartment building right now while they are going through some tough times. I still do not know what I want to be when I grow up.
