Judi's Story
There is not near enough room in this box for me to tell my story; the journey has been long so in the short, here's my shot at it.
I married and left Atlanta shortly after graduating from High School. I was blessed with two wonderful and incredibly gifted daughters, LeeAnne (now 29) & Toni (27). A few years after marrying their father, I divorced and was single for 9 years until I met my husband whom I've now been married to for 20 adventurous filled years. Life has never slowed down since we met. Together we had 5 children and everyone called us "the brady bunch." I had my 2 daughters and with his 3 sons; Samson (now 35), David (30), and Michael (27), all we needed was another girl. But God had different plans and blessed us with our son, Dominic (meaning belonging to the Lord) who is soon to be 17. We have 4 grandchildren; Tyler (11), Brenden (7), Mikayla (2) and Austin (6 months). Our children are spread from Georgia to Oklahoma to parts of Texas. Life is much quieter now with only our youngest son left at home (and boys are sooo much quieter anyway!). Lucky him, we're all in whatever he has going on since we don't have his brothers and sisters to keep us distracted (he would pardon to differ here).
As far as work goes, I've been employed with Syngenta, a global agricultural business, for 22 years...Expand for more
. I support the Plant Manager and Leadership Team at our Houston site, chair our company functions and UW program, coordinate our LT conferences, represent our site as a member of NAFTA communications and serve on our newsletter committee and retain a role in supporting HR management. The list goes on and on; it's an understatement that I hold a heavy workload and can't wait to relax on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfel, TX this June! After that, we have a trip planned to Georgia where my son will attend a Leadership Conference at N. Georgia College for Aviation & Aeronautics. I hope to touch base with some old friends while in Georgia this summer.
My life has changed but I haven't changed a bit; I'm always the one standing up for the underdog, love people, the outdoors, the sun, singing and dancing, my God who has always been there to watch over me through my good and bad choices in life (I don't deserve such patience and unconditional love), hanging out with my family and friends, tubing the river and white water rafting, traveling most anywhere, camping and wildlife, the beach and sunsets, shopping, interior decorating and gardening. My passion for life is unchanged and my love for my really close friends I grew up with in my younger days; I still love you all no matter how many years have passed!
