Judi's Story
I have been married to the same wonderful man Brent for 29 years. We had two beautiful children Amanda and Jeffrey. Both also graduated from CHS Amanda in 2000 and Jeffrey in 2002. Our lives were blessed until December 13, 2002 when our son was in an automobile accident coming home from snow boarding at Sierra Summit. On December 20, 2002 he passed away from complications from the accident. He was only 18 years old. At which time our lives were turned totally upside down and life as we knew it ended on that day. r gets better, it only becomes different. Our hearts will be broken forever, and will never heal from the loss of our son Jeffrey. Our daughter Amanda is a fashion designer and started a clothing company, Simdog Apparel in memory of our son. Simdog was Jeffreys nick name at school. Partial proceeds benefit the "Joy for Jeff" memorial scholarship foundation at CHS. Her clothing is sold in over 100+ stores throughout the USA, Canada, & Japan. It has been bittersweet for us however we know that Jeffrey would be very proud of her success.
