Judie's Story
After graduation I joined the U.S. Army and served 3 years before being discharged as a Specialist E-5. I was stationed in Chicago, Ill the whole time after basic training. I married someone who was stationed where I was and we ended up living in New Jersey and had two children - boy and girl. In 1975 I left my husband and moved to California to live with my two children. My sister Marilyn lived there and helped me to get back on my feet. I went to work at March AFB CA and subsequently joined the Air Force Reserves in 1977. I met my current husband at that time and we married in 1979. He has two wonderful sons so our family of two grew to four. We have 8 wonderful grandchildren as a result and have been married for over 31 years now.

m Civil Service employment as a GS-12 Medical Billing Supervisor at the Reno VA Medical Center after 26 years employment.
In 1983 I decided I wanted to do taxes and took an H & R Block Tax course. In 1987 I opened an office and did that for several years until we moved from CA in 1993. Then I just did taxes from home during the tax season.
After 5 years of retirement and becoming bored I opened a tax accounting practice here in Bullhead City, AZ in January 2009. I have two bookkeepers on staff and a contracted CPA. Last year was rough going but this year we are doing quite well, despite the economy.
In November 2009 we had a "Bobo" family reunion with about 15 family members attending. We cruised to the Bahamas. Next year we plan to cruise to Mexico.
All I can say is "Life is Good" and I have had a marvelous life. It's just going too fast!
