Judith's Story
It' hard to believe it's been over 30 years., alot has happened. Starting with yesterday- my 17th grandchild was born, a baby girl named Lily! As some of you might know, I became a foster parent after high school and have parented over 36 children, 12 of which I adopted, then I married a man that had 6 kids, 4 of which him and his late wife adopted, with a total of 18!! I think that beats the Truijilos. We still have 8 at home ranging from 5 to 19, so our house is never quite. We are very happy and we have wonderful children. I did go on to college, it took me 7 years, but I got my BA in psychology and early childhood and worked in Social Work for almost 10 years, when I decided that I was paying more than 3/4 of my ...Expand for more
income in childcare, so I became a stay at home Mom. Next year my youngest, Faith Ann will be in school full time, so I'll be looking for a job in the school system. We still live in Redford, but moved 3 years ago to South Redford and we attend Christ the King Church in Detroit. Our story brought alot of media attention last year , with a story in People Magazine, a debut on Naomi Judd's show, Montell and we were suppose to do Oprah. That did not happen, because our then 5 year old son became very ill and passed away within 3 weeks. It was the worst time in my life and we miss him horribly. He was an amazing child , with such energy and spirit. His smile won everyone's heart.
I hope all is well in your lives,.
