Life
Where to begin, after graduation:
Disneyland for a season
Santa Ana Jr. College 1 year
United Airlines Flight Attendant for 6 1/2 years.
Married a Texan in 1979 moved to Texas where I have been ever since

Lived in East Texas on a hay farm for year and a half worked at a radio station selling advertising. After that I worked at a friends restaurant as a waitress for a summer.
Houston Texas  Texas City University. Certificate in Graphic Arts
Worked AAAA Printing for several years in Houston.
Went on an Outward Bond backpacking trip to the high desert Joshua Tree CA. Carrying a 60# pack was very difficult. I did win the perseverance award for the week.
Moved to Austin TX in the early 80Âs
We bought a house in the country but the city is growing out to meet us.
David and I have been remodeling our cabin since we moved here.
Was unemployed for a while-then got a job at Sweet Printing as an account manager.
Quit there when they got bought out by Hart Graphics (bigger business)
Took a little time off before working as a picture framer at MichaelÂs Arts and Crafts for 5 years. I enjoyed stretching, matting and framing needle work also shadow boxes of Christening dresses and turkey butts. ItÂs amazing what people frame!
Went back into printing at Round Rock Graphics for 8 years. Retired for 5
Went to work as Admin. Asst. for a local Episcopal Church here in Cedar Park. I was there for 2 1/2 years. Retired 08/22/07 in the middle of my mid life crises. It seem I was having difficulty dealing with my fathers death. I was there helping my Mom and sister Patti while he was Hospis (congestive heart failure is a terrible way to die).
Since living here at the cabin we have had 7 cats all who have pasted on.
Adopted our Dalmatian at 8 weeks, Shiba, in 1997. Shiba pasted away Oct 30, 2009. I still can't see another Dal without crying. It will take time.
Figaro our cat is 5 year old. He can be very fierce when he meets up with another cat! (or my feet). He bring in live snakes, liz...Expand for more
ards, mice and birds. He plays with them for awhile then lets me try to catch them for release back outside. The mice normally do not make it. They die of a heart attack. There are no marks found on the bodies.
We have coyotes out here and they think of cats and small dogs as candy. We adopted a cat named Fiona. She is part Siamese and talks a lot but she became Coyote candy too. So have now adopted yet another cat named KiVa.
I did get to travel a bit to Japan, England, France, Italy, Czech, Germany, Netherlands, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and the USA.
Engaged 3 times. The third time was the charm.
Have been with the same man for 31 years, no children.
We have sponsored 10 children through Children's International.
Learned about chemtrails. Looks like the Gov. is spraying us with Aluminum. Making us all sick. Google "toxic sky"
Pray all are in good health...
I always wanted to be a nun when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were right. I liked boys and money to much.
I have a soft spot in my heart for animals. I really get upset when someone intentionally hurts one. If I ever go fishing with David, I take a book.
And trees, they take so long to grow and stupid people just come along and cut them down because they are in the way. Just build around them I say. Don't get me started! I do not care if others call me a tree hugger!
I went to stand in front of a bulldozer once, to save some trees. The dozer did not show.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel by finishing all of the project David has started and not finished. Closet, expand the bedroom and add on a second bathroom. We are both getting older and a second toilet would be wonderful. I can only run so fast to beat David to the bathroom. My dream home would be finished, with central AC and heat.
If I had one thing to do over, I would not have gotten married so young. Hind sight, I still had a lot of world to discover. I thought the love of a good man would be enough...If I had known being married can be this lonely I would have stayed by myself.
