Went on a fabulous 4-1/2 week road trip early this fall! A week of golf in Oregon (in the 90's) to Craters of the Moon in Idaho then south thru Salt Lake, toured Bryce Canyon and Zion Nat'l Park, then on to Albuquerque NM for the hot air balloon festival. (90's again) As we headed north through Colorado, Pike's Peak, and to So Dakota it began to snow and unseasonably cold weather set in. As we arrived at Rapid City SD the wind chill factor that night was -8 and the temp never left the 20's. Set new low record temps while there. Brrrrr!
