Judith's Story
6/19/08 - Please excuse me for leaving this blank for so long. I will give you a glimpse of the most recent chapter in my life. In 1989, my husband and I, and 4 children moved to Rochester, NY where my daughter and I still reside. The rest of my family has moved on. My husband came out of retirement in February of this year to take a senior planner position with Dona Ana county in Las Cruces. I have one son in southern California, one in Phoenix, Arizona, and another in Seattle, Washington. I suggested they move West and apparently it worked!

ochester. I felt it was advantageous to stick it out here until next year at which time I hope to sell our house and join my husband in Las Cruces. I was able to make a quick visit to El Paso in February and I was astounded by the changes since I was last there in 1962. I expected it to be different but it is waaaaay different. North Loop Rd was completely unrecognizable. Those 2 lanes are now 4 and the road looks so different lined with businesses instead of those big old cottonwood trees and an occasional cotton field. If I hadn't had a map, we would have never found the streets I used to live on!
