Judith's Story
Life
Howdy! After graduating from Socorro H.S. in 1990, I attended college at the University of Texas at Austin where I earned bachelor degrees in Spanish & Psychology. I lived there for 6 fun years. Soon after, I moved to Portland, OR where I lived for 8 years. I had various jobs with the last one being in the Mental Health field as a case manager. While in Portland, I was also a TV hostess for a local program with Telemundo and a back up vocalist for a Salsa band. Short lived claim to fame as a local celebrity! I became a fan of the outdoors and learned to snowboard, snow shoe, river raft, canoe, hike trails...etc. Oregon is a BEAUTIFUL state. I also traveled to an island off Canada.
Currently I'm back in El Paso working as a Juvenile Probation Officer with the county. I'm married but no kids yet, just my adorable nieces and my nephew. I love traveling and always looking forward to my next adventure wherever life takes me next.
School
CRUSHES: I was too conceided to have a crush on a high chool ...Expand for more
"boy" as I was more interested in a college "man". I think I was also too shy to admit to any sporadic crushes.
INSPIRATIONAL TEACHERS: Ms. White, Mr. Ortiz, Ms. Lopez & Mrs. Mohrhauser. I can't remember my first Algebra teacher's name. He already passed away but he certainly made Algebra understandable & fun. OH! I remember, Mr. Gillette!!! RIP.
REPEATS: If I could do it again, I would focus on singing and not be embarrased to audition for performances. Had I not been so shy, I probably would be making millions alongside Mariah Carey & Shakira!!!! :)
CRAZIEST school memory I have is having skipped school with a few accomplices. I was so nerveous at the mall that I hardly enjoyed myself because of being so scared of getting caught. I even had an upset stomach.
FUNNIEST memory is when I was part of toilet papering a teacher's home along with about 5 other misfits, both older & younger. I think deep down we were really fond of that teacher but we had different (and immature) ways of expressing it. :)
