Judith's Story

Life After high school, I graduated from Southwest Missouri State with a BS in Education with a Major/Minor in History and Sociology. I've taught at various levels and in various fields. I did post-graduate work in Special Education and Counseling and am certified also in Special Education and as a generalist in grades 4-8. I will begin my 39th year of teaching this coming school year (2010-2011). I married in 1970 and we celebrated our 39th anniversary in Dec. 2009. My husband, A.R., sells construction equipment. We have one son, Brian, who just turned 36. We have also bee...Expand for more
n blessed with three wonderful grandkids: Brady who is eleven, Kailey who just turned eight, and Kaden who just turned four. Also, we have a super daughter-in-law, Michelle (who also teaches). We currently live in the Texas Hill Country, in a small area called Driftwood. Driftwood is located about 20+ miles south of Austin and about 50+ miles northwest of San Antonio. We travel when we can, which is not often enough, and enjoy our home, family, and friends. Overall, life has been kind to me.
