Judith's Story
Life
After graduation from Chaffey, I attended Chaffey College for two years. I transferred to the University of California at Irvine, where I completed my B.A. I pursued my teaching credential and Master's Degree at Cal State Fullerton. I did my student teaching at Estancia High School in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District. I was subsequently hired by the NMUSD to teach French at Costa Mesa High School in Sept., 1970. I was married in Oct. 1971 to Thomas J. Redenbaugh.
I have been happily married for 47 years to my husband Tom.
I retired from teaching (June 2002)after 32 years at Costa Mesa High School as a teacher of French. I was extremely active...Expand for more
in local and state foreign language associations, I was a presenter at many local and state conferences and was a member of the COACH Foreign Language Project at UCI for many years, and volunteered for a number of years after I retired. I led student tour groups to France from 1974-2000, with colleagues and students from Orange County. I led Costa Mesa High School Senior Backpacking HIkes into the Havasupai Indian Reservation (a side canyon of the Grand Canyon) from 1986-2000.
Tom and I are both retired and continue to enjoy the outdoors, road trips, hiking, winter sports, photography, travel (domestic and foreign), and collecting native american artifacts.
