Judith's Story
I was married in 1959 in August just after graduation. I had two children and we lived in Detroit until 1968 when we moved to Memphis, Tennessee where my husband was from. We divorced and I remarried in 1970. My new husband had two children the same as myself and together we had another child. So now we have his, mine, and ours kids. Anyway we have 5 children, 6 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. They are all the highlight of my life as I was an only child. I always said I was "a lonely only...Expand for more
." Never did I realize what a big family I had created making it very difficult at Christmas to get everything done let alone all the gifts for the grandchildren. But I believe Christmas is for children and I love it. Anyway my family is my life and I guess this is my story. My husband is still working because he enjoys what he does and I think it keeps him young. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our "50th." Also I should be celebrating this year because I am a 5 year breast cancer survivor.
